By blocking COX-2, diclofenac reduces the formation of these prostaglandins, thereby alleviating pain and inflammation associated with various conditions. Used for relieving acute pain and inflammation, such as in dental pain or post-surgical pain. Used for managing pain and swelling in conditions like arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout.
