This enzyme exists in two forms COX-1 and COX-2. Diclofenac selectively inhibits COX-2, which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins that mediate pain, inflammation, and fever. By blocking COX-2, diclofenac reduces the formation of these prostaglandins, thereby alleviating pain and inflammation associated with various conditions. Used for relieving acute pain and inflammation, such as in dental pain or post-surgical pain. Used for managing pain and swelling in conditions like arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. Used for reducing fever and providing pain relief in cases of severe migraines or headaches. Used for treating menstrual pain and discomfort. Used for easing muscle pain and sports injuries.
