Loratadine is a long-acting, selective competitive histamine H1-receptor antagonist, effective in reducing systemic histamine effects. This effectiveness is due to its relative affinity for the histamine H1 receptor, a property that also accounts for its selective action in the treatment of allergic reactions, and its lower incidence of sedative properties when compared to previous anti-histamine treatments. Administration of Loratadine is indicated for persistent, inflammatory, and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, urticaria, and other allergic conditions including lichen simplex chronicus, pruritus, and other skin conditions. It also is indicated for allergic reactions to blood or plasma. Composition Each 5ml contains: Loratadine: 5mg Direction for Use As directed by the physician.
