Tibol 2.5 mg Tablets contain Tibolone, a synthetic steroid hormone used as Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for postmenopausal women. It is indicated for the relief of symptoms occurring after menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness, and for the prevention of osteoporosis (bone loss) in postmenopausal women at high risk of fractures who cannot use other osteoporosis medications. Tibolone is a unique tissue-selective compound that is broken down by the body to produce estrogenic, progestogenic, and androgenic effects, which are similar to combined HRT without the need for a separate progestogen.
