Gyno-Daktarin Vaginal Cream contains Miconazole Nitrate 20 mg/g, a broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal agent used for the local treatment of vulvovaginal candidosis (vaginal yeast infection/thrush) caused by *Candida* species. Miconazole Nitrate works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of the fungal cell membrane, thereby disrupting fungal cell integrity and leading to the death of the fungus. This cream is indicated for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections and associated symptoms such as itching, redness, irritation, and abnormal white discharge. It may also be used for the treatment of mycotic balanitis (fungal infection of the glans penis) in male partners when both partners are affected.
