This medicine is used to treat fungal and yeast infections such as vaginal candidiasis (vaginal infection), candidal balanitis (inflammation of the penis), mucosal candidiasis (infection of lining of body cavities; except genital), dermal candidiasis (skin infection), tinea pedis (infection of the soles of feet and interdigital spaces), versicolor candidiasis (skin infection causing spots), invasive candidal infections including candidemia (blood infection) and disseminated candidiasis (spread of candidal infection), cryptococcal infections including meningitis (infection of the meninges of brain and spinal cord), and prevention of recurring cryptococcal meningitis in Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) patients after completion of primary therapy and fungal infections in immunocompromised patients (decreased immunity) after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Composition Each capsule contains: Fluconazole: 150 mg Direction for Use As directed by the physician.
