Bisoprolol is a beta blocker that blocks beta 1 adrenoceptors (located mainly in the heart) resulting in low cardiac output. It reduces cardiac workload by decreasing contractility and the need for oxygen. It also decreases renin release by kidneys which is further responsible for reduction in blood pressure. Composition Each film coated tablet contains: Bisoprolol Fumarate: 2.5 mg Direction for Use As directed by the physician.
