Benefits Permethrin is used to treat scabies, a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin. Permethrin belongs to a class of drugs known as pyrethrins. Permethrin works by paralyzing and killing the mites and their eggs. Composition Each bottle contains Permethrin BP: 5% w/w in a lotion base Directions for Use Apply a thin layer on entire surface, leave for 8-12 hours and then remove by thoroughly washing or as directed by physician.
