Fully Active 4th Generation Folic Acid Greenfolic contains “Quatrefolic” which is highly soluble, biologically active 4th generation folic acid that does not need to get metabolized. It is a safe alternative to conventional and traditional folic acid which requires metabolism and due to genetic polymorphism, more than 50% patients’ population do not have those metabolic enzymes that converts the traditional folic acid into its active form L-methylfolate. Greenfolic (Quatrefolic) may be 100 times more soluble in water than calcium salt. High water solubility means the product may be better absorbed by mucosal cells which may facilitate access to the blood and circulation.
