Extra amounts of Vitamin C and B Complex vitamins have been added to Isocal to meet special needs of many tube-fed patients. Isocal is Suitable For General tube feeding needs Barriers to normal ingestion (coma, paralysis) Inadequate oral intake (cancer, stroke, anorexia) Malnutrition Post-operative alimentation Kidney Disease Suggested Usage For Oral Supplementation : A scoop is enclosed for this purpose. When mixing Isocal for oral supplement, It is recommended that the caloric density of 1.0 kcal/ml be obtained by adding 3 level the scoops of the powder to 210ml of water.
