Axesom (Esomeprazole) is an anti-ulcer medicine used for treating GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and other intestinal and gastric acid-producing conditions. It is also used for treating esophageal lining damage caused by acid, as well as to avoid ulcers produced by NSAIDs and Helicobacter Pylori bacteria. This medicine belongs to a proton pump inhibitor class of medicines. These act by lowering the amount of stomach acid produced. Composition Each Capsule contains: Enteric-coated Pellets of Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate Equivalent to Esomeprazole: 20 mg Directions for Use Use only as directed by the physician.
