Cefotaxime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, including serious or life-threatening forms. It is administered by injection into a vein (intravenously) or a muscle (intramuscularly). Use with caution having Kidney Disease and Liver Disease. It is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to corn products. Composition Each vial of dry substance contains: Cefotaxime Sodium Equivalent To: 262 mg Cefotaxime U.S.P: 250 mg Directions for Use As per the direction of a qualified physician.
