Peditral is a WHO based ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula. Oral redyration salt is a combination of Dextrose and a number of essential electrolytes (Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Citrate). ORS POWDER is used for the treatment of acute diarrhoea and for the treatment and prevention of dehydration (loss of fluids) resulting from diarrhoea. Supplement Facts Each sachet contains: Sodium Chloride: 3.50 g Sodium Citrate: 2.90 g Potassium Chloride: 1.50 g Dextrose Anhydrous: 20.0 g Suggested Usage Infants: One Litre over 24 hours period. Or as directed by the doctor. Children: 1 Litre over 8 to 24 hours period. Or as directed by the doctor. Adults: Drink freely as required. (Two to Four Litres during 24 hours.
