Traditionally used for the treatment of complaints caused by inflammations of the pharynx such as acute and chronic tonsillitis. Composition Each tablet contains: Atropinum Sulfuricum: 5X 12.5 mg Hepar Sulfuris: 3X 10 mg Kalium Bichromicum: 4X 50 mg Silicea: 2X 5 mg Mercurius Bijodatus: 8X 25 mg Excipients Q.S. to 250 mg Indications Traditionally used for the treatment of complaints caused by inflammations of the pharynx such as acute and chronic tonsillitis. Dosage Adults : Unless otherwise prescribed, in acute conditions adults should take 1 to 2 tablets three times a day. For the treatment of chronic complaints adults should take 1 tablet one to three times a day. Children : Unless otherwise prescribed, children should not take more than 1 tablet three times a day. Take the Tonsiotren® tablets half an hour before or after meals, and preferably allow them to dissolve slowly in the mouth. As soon as an improvement is felt, reduce frequency of use.
