The active drug substance contained in Preus is dry root extract of the herb Pelargo-nium sidoides. Pelargonium sidoides, a South African plant belonging to the pelargo- nium genus comes under Geraniaceae family. For centuries, the root extract from this plant has been used to help relieve cough, common cold, flu, sore throat and acute bronchitis. Supplement Facts Each 5ml contains: Pelargonium sidoides dry root extract: 12.5 mg Indications Cough Runny Nose Sore Throat Blocked Nose Dosage Children aged 6-12 years: Take 5ml of the syrup three times daily. Adults and children over 12 years: Take 7.5ml of the syrup three times daily or as directed by healthcare practitioner. If you forget to take this product, do not take twice the dose. Continue to take the usual dose at the usual time. A measuring cup is provided for accurate measurement of dosage. Not suitable for children under 6 years.
