Hepatec is a stable combination of two important endogenous amino acids, L-Omithine and L-Aspartate. After administration it quickly breaks down into L-Ornithine and L- Aspartate. This medication is used as an anti-oxidant for liver. Liver is the largest organ in the body. It is located below the diaphragm in the right upper quadrant of the abdominal cavity. The main functions of liver include bile production and excretion, excretion of bilirubin, cholesterol, hormones, and drugs, metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, enzyme activation, storage or glycogen, vitamins, and minerals, synthesis of plasma proteins, such as albumin, and clotting factors, blood detoxification and purification. The main and most important distinctness of this combination from other medicines for treatment of liver is that it not just neutralizes toxins and assets them to be cleared from the body affecting as detoxicative agent but also actively helps in restoration of cells and natural functions of liver which is the organ of toxins neutralization, i.e. provides an hepatoprotective effect. Hepatoprotection effect (protection of liver) is ensured by decreasing of toxic load on liver, as well as metabolic support of hepatic cells by two amino acids which are ornithine and aspartate included in medicine's content. Chronic hepatitis (with or without hyperammonemia). Cirrhosis of liver. Fatty liver with hyperammonemia. Hepatic encephalopathy. As an adjuvant therapy with all hepatotoxic drugs. Suggested Usage Adults: Two tablespoon full or 30ml twice a day.
