Primarily used to treat infertility in women. Clomid is classified as Hormonal Therapy and is composed of Clomiphene Citrate. There are certain hormones that support the growth and release of a mature egg in women. This process is called Ovulation. Clomid stimulates the growth of the said hormones and assists in ovulation by blocking estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus. It is not recommended to women whose ovaries are incapable of making eggs properly. Uses This medication is used to treat infertility in women. Not recommended for women whose ovaries are incapable of making eggs properly. Composition Each tablet contains: Clomiphene citrate: 50 mg Directions for Use Recommended dose is 50mg (one tablet) daily for 5 days or as directed by a registered medical practitioner.
