Cedrox-BD 500 mg Tablets contain Cefadroxil Monohydrate, a first‑generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of mild to moderate bacterial infections. As a beta‑lactam antibiotic, it works by disrupting bacterial cell‑wall synthesis, producing bactericidal activity against susceptible Gram‑positive organisms (streptococci, methicillin‑sensitive staphylococcic) and selected Gram‑negative bacteria.
