Onset-8 contains Ondansetron 8 mg, a potent and selective 5‑HT3 receptor antagonist used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post‑operative conditions. It works by blocking serotonin from binding to 5‑HT3 receptors in the gut and the central nervous system, effectively reducing the vomiting reflex. Onset-8 is indicated for adults and children (≥6 months) receiving emetogenic cancer therapy, for radiation‑induced nausea and vomiting, and for prevention of post‑operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) Effective anti‑emetic – Prevents nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery Fast‑acting – Onset of action typically within 1–2 hours of oral administration Long‑lasting relief – A single dose provides protection for up to 24 hours Composition Each tablet contains: Ondansetron HCI USP eq. to Ondansetron: 8 mg Directions for Use Take as per physician's advice.
