Wegovy (semaglutide) is a prescription GLP‑1 receptor agonist for chronic weight management in adults and adolescents (12 years and older with body weight >60 kg) who have obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m²) or are overweight (BMI ≥27 kg/m²) with at least one weight‑related comorbidity such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or dyslipidemia.
