Mixtard 30 HM is a human insulin suspension for injection used to treat diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2). It is a biphasic (pre-mixed) insulin formulation containing 30% soluble (short-acting) insulin and 70% isophane (intermediate-acting) insulin, combining a fast onset of action with a prolonged duration of effect.
