Procye (Procyclidine) is an anticholinergic and antimuscarinic medication primarily used to treat drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS), such as tremors, rigidity, and dystonia, caused by antipsychotic medications. It is also used as adjunctive therapy in Parkinson's disease to help control tremors and stiffness. Each tablet contains 5 mg of Procyclidine, which works by blocking acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system, restoring the balance between dopamine and acetylcholine. Controls Drug-Induced EPS: Effectively reduces tremors, muscle stiffness, and involuntary movements caused by antipsychotics. Adjunct in Parkinson's Disease: Helps manage symptoms like rigidity and tremor. Restores Neurotransmitter Balance: Counteracts excessive cholinergic activity in the CNS. Composition Each tablet contains: Procyclidine HCI (USP): 5 mg Directions for Use Use only as directed by the physician.
