Tioget is a long-acting anticholinergic bronchodilator medication used for the long-term, once-daily maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways, helping to keep them open and making breathing easier. The medication is delivered via a specialized dry powder inhaler device (HandiHaler) using a 18mcg capsule placed in the device. It is not for immediate relief of acute breathing problems. 24-Hour Bronchodilation: One capsule daily provides all-day and all-night improvement in lung function and breathing. Reduces COPD Exacerbations: Helps decrease the frequency of symptom flare-ups and hospitalizations. Improves Exercise Tolerance: Can enhance the ability to perform daily activities by reducing breathlessness.
