Drug Class: Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor Fildil is a prescription medication containing tadalafil. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED ) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH ) in adult men. Tadalafil works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow to specific areas, helping improve erectile function and support urinary symptoms associated with BPH. One of the distinguishing features of Fildil (tadalafil) is its extended duration of action — up to 36 hours , giving users greater flexibility compared to shorter-lasting ED medications. Fildil may be taken as needed before sexual activity or as a daily low-dose regimen, based on your doctor’s recommendation. Use Fildil only under medical supervision. Indications / Uses • Treat erectile dysfunction (ED) • Improve erectile function by increasing blood flow during sexual stimulation • Treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) • Help relieve urinary symptoms associated with BPH, such as weak stream or frequent urination • Treat both ED and BPH when present together. Dosage For Erectile Dysfunction • 10 mg taken before sexual activity • Your doctor may adjust the dose to 5 mg or 20 mg based on effectiveness and tolerability For Daily Use (ED or BPH): • 2.5 mg to 5 mg once daily For Pulmonary arterial Hypertension: 40 mg once daily 20mg once daily • Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours • Can be taken with or without food Follow your prescriber’s instructions carefully. Side Effects Common Side Effects: Headache, Indigestion, Back pain, Muscle aches, Flushing, Nasal congestion Serious Side Effects (seek medical attention): Chest pain, Sudden vision or hearing loss, Erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism), Severe allergic reactions Seek immediate medical attention if serious side effects
